Visual design, UX design - Intercontinental Hotel Group - 2016

 

While working at Nine Labs, we helped IHG to redesign their loyalty app. 

It had come from being a simple booking app to a full platform for IHG reward members. It happened without much of a process, making the interface convoluted.

One of the main goal we had was for the options to be relevant depending on what step of the booking the user is at while using the app. The user is either looking for a room, pre-stay, in-stay, or post-stay.

We made it so the app is relevant to the user’s booking process, adding possibilities to check-in, get directions, rent a car, while having the reward status details available easily under the form of an ID card. The reward member’s details are engaging and data driven, making it easy for the user to take a grasp at his situation. 

The visual feel is immersive and inspiring, photography-heavy, engaging the user to discover new places or rebook a past stay depending on what is more relevant.
